Tips For Clear Skin
If you have acne, it is for sure more than four-letter word for you. You probably feel better to say “blemishes”, “zits” or “breakouts”. However, whatever the name is, acne looks the same.
So, what is NOT acne?
You simply have it. You have a defect in the structure and function of your skin. Your skin, pores and oil glands work differently than those of “clear-skinned” individuals.
Acne is a genetic disease, just like others genetic diseases - diabetes, for instance. While acne is not as serious as diabetes, the comparison is important to explain what acne really is. There is no cure for diabetes, but there is something one can do to control it, i.e. to take insulin.
There is no cure for acne as well. However, there are working treatments that keep acne under control and create glowing-looking skin during the disease.
Acne is formed below the surface of the skin and cannot be washed away. To clear acne, you need clinical-strength products that are designed to penetrate the pore, exfoliate the dead skin cells and kill the acne bacteria.

I have had the most amazing experience since I started the Acne Treatment Program with Veronika 2 months ago! My face is almost flawless but beyond that I have developed a great friendship with her.
I have been battling acne for the last 18 years. I have tried every single antibiotic, medication, crème, soap, topical, etc. you name it. I did see some results that I was actually pleased with while on Accutane/Isotretinoin.
I came in for a scars consultation, and Alexandra told me I didn't need aggressive treatments like lasers because my scarring wasn’t severe or old. She recommended PRP or microneedling with exosomes, which sounded best for my situation. I ended up choosing PRP, and it worked well for my scars. My pores are now smaller and tighter.
My daughter was treated for acne at AcneClinicNYC, and I always wanted to try PRP for anti-aging (I’ve read a lot about it being the most gentle way of rejuvenation). Oh my gosh, I fell in love with this treatment. I do four sessions a year now and plan to stick with it. Every treatment feels like a breath of fresh air, and I can see how thankful my skin is: bright, tight, and lifted!
